This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
372 FNUS55 KBOU 211000 FWFBOU Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO 400 AM MDT Wed Oct 21 2020 ...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 AM MDT THURSDAY FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE FOOTHILLS, FIRE WEATHER ZONES 215 AND 216... ...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 7 PM MDT THIS EVENING FOR GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE NORTH, MIDDLE, AND SOUTH PARKS, FIRE WEATHER ZONES 211, 213, 214... .DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...Winds will increase in the mountains today, with humidities dropping into the teens. The strongest winds will remain over the higher east slopes of the Front Range this morning with gusts to 50 mph possible, then less intense winds will spread into the lower foothills and valleys this afternoon with gusts to 40 mph. This afternoon will also be dry and breezy on the plains. Humidities will be higher across most of the plains, but areas south and southeast of Denver may approach Red Flag conditions for a few hours this afternoon. Conditions will improve in the valleys this evening, but the wind will continue over the rest of the mountains with poor recovery overnight. Stronger winds may push down into the lower foothills with gusts up to 50 mph late tonight. LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Thursday through Sunday...It will remain windy across the mountains and mountain valleys Thursday. Meanwhile, a cold front slides south along east slopes of the mountains and across eastern Colorado. This will bring colder air and higher humidities to the foothills and eastern Colorado. Windy conditions will linger across the mountains and mountain valleys through Saturday, though relative humidities will trend higher each day. For the foothills and eastern plains, cool temperatures and higher humidities will prevail through the weekend and into next week. ...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds... ...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds... ...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid... ...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone groups and may not match the actual forecast values shown in those groups...
