...The Flood Warning remains in effect...

The Flood Warning continues for
  the St Johns River Near Astor.
* Until further notice.
* At 8:30 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 2.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 2.3 feet.
* Minor to moderate flooding is occurring and is forecast to 
  continue.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending 
  at 8:30 AM EDT Thursday was 3.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to remain at or near Moderate 
  flood stage around 2.9 feet into the weekend, before decreasing 
  further into Minor flood stage for early next week.
* Impact...At 3.0 feet, Moderate flooding, with water covering yards 
  and further encroaching on many low lying homes near the river. 
  Flooding of many yards and low lying roads near the river.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 3.0 
  feet on 06/04/1932.
