Bulk Download Help
This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.

Areas south of Interstate 80 and west of Interstate 35 received the highest rainfall totals overnight, with a few locations reporting upwards of 2-3 inches. Skies will continue to clear from north to south across Iowa this morning, leaving sun-drenched skies statewide by afternoon. Humidity values will be notably more comfortable today as well, in the drier post-frontal air mass. The comfortable weather is expected to persist into Tuesday although some afternoon showers will be possible from northeastern Iowa into Wisconsin as a weak front passes through the areas. Warmer air tries to work back into Iowa by the middle of the week along with an increasing threat of some storms, mainly across the southwest half of the state. Despite the attempts of the warmer air to move back into the Midwest later this week, temperatures are forecast to remain near normal with no surge of hot weather foreseen over the next seven days. $$
