At 2 PM MDT (3 PM CDT) temperatures where ranging from the 87 degrees in Yuma, Colorado to 81 degrees in Gove, Kansas. OUTLOOK... Mostly clear skies will give way to partly cloudy conditions this afternoon. Later this Tuesday afternoon, showers and thunderstorms are possible, first over Eastern Colorado, then spreading into Northwestern Kansas and extreme Southwestern Nebraska. Any thunderstorms that develop may produce large hail, damaging wind, and heavy rainfall which could result in flash flooding. Afternoon high temperatures will range from the middle 80s to lower 90s. Through the end of the week and into the weekend, expect hot conditions to continue with daily chances for a few showers and storms. $$
