...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS CANCELLED...

The Flash Flood Watch for portions of south central North Dakota and 
southwest North Dakota, including the following areas, in south 
central North Dakota, Emmons, Grant, Mercer, Morton, Oliver and 
Sioux. In southwest North Dakota, Adams, Dunn, Hettinger and Stark 
has been cancelled.

The threat for heavy rain has ended south and west of the Missouri 
River, therefore the Flash Flood Watch has been cancelled.

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 PM CDT/10 PM MDT/ 
THIS EVENING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of north central North Dakota...northwest North Dakota 
  and south central North Dakota, including the following areas, in 
  north central North Dakota, Bottineau, McHenry, Renville and Ward. 
  In northwest North Dakota, Burke and Mountrail. In south central 
  North Dakota, Burleigh, McLean and Sheridan.

* Until 11 PM CDT this evening

* Multiple rounds of thunderstorms with very heavy rain are possible 
  through the evening. Intense rainfall rates may be enough to 
  produce flash flooding in areas that receive multiple rounds of 
  thunderstorms.

* Low spots along roadways and normally flood prone areas in rural 
  areas may become flooded. In towns, streets and underpasses could 
  quickly become flooded.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become 
unstable and unsafe.
