There will be a low chance for a few isolated thunderstorms generally near and east of Interstate 45 this afternoon. Severe weather is not expected, but cloud-to-ground lightning strikes, gusty winds, and brief heavy downpours will be possible. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. A few thunderstorms will be possible across East Texas again on Tuesday afternoon, but severe weather is not expected. The next chance for thunderstorms will come Sunday and into next Monday. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation is not expected at this time. $$
