Fire Weather Forecast for Northeast and North Central Colorado
National Weather Service Denver/Boulder CO
344 AM MDT Thu Jun 11 2020

.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...An upper ridge will build
overhead to bring near to slightly above normal temperatures today
under partly cloudy skies. The warming aloft along with light
winds will limit dispersion to fair to good, except South Park
where it will be excellent.

LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Friday through Monday...Above normal
temperatures and low humidity can be expected through this
period. Fire danger will increase Saturday and especially Sunday
with lower humidity and stronger winds. Saturday should see
scattered shower and storms as a weather disturbance moves over
the region, with the highest coverage over the mountains. They
will produce gusty winds and lightning, but only light rainfall.
Then drier conditions will prevail for Sunday and Monday.

...Thunderstorms imply strong gusty erratic winds...
...All surface winds are 20-Foot...10-Minute averaged winds...
...CWR is Chance of Wetting Rain - 0.10 inch or more liquid...
...24 HR Trends are based on averages over the respective zone
groups and may not match the actual forecast values
                    shown in those groups...
