statement for the following rivers...
Missouri River affecting St. Charles
Osage River affecting Mari-Osa Campground
River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.
Safety message: Never drive cars, trucks, or sport utility vehicles
through flooded areas. The water may be too deep to allow for safe
passage.

Forecast information for
The Missouri River at St. Charles
* At 10:00 AM Wednesday the stage was 21.5 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
* The river is forecast to rise above flood stage by late Friday
morning and crest near 25.6 feet by Saturday morning. The river
will fall below flood stage by late Sunday morning.
* At 25.0 feet... The right bank downstream overflows, flooding
agricultural bottomland. Near this stage, Missouri Route H at Island
Road will be closed in both directions.
