Synopsis for Altamaha Sound GA to Flagler Beach FL out to 60 nm-
957 AM EDT Mon May 18 2020

.SYNOPSIS...
Low pressure over the lower Mississippi Valley will progress
northeastward into the Tennessee Valley by this evening, dragging
a weakening cold front through our region tonight. Strong to
isolated severe thunderstorms will likely approach our waters from
the west this afternoon, with stronger activity capable of
producing strong wind gusts and small hail. Southerly winds will
increase this evening ahead of the cold front. A complex storm
system over the Tennessee Valley will then keep southwesterly
winds in place through midweek. A significant northeasterly swell
with then overspread our waters on Wednesday night and Thursday,
with elevated seas persisting through Friday.
