Seas are provided as a range of the average height of the highest 1/3 of the waves, along with the occasional height of the average highest 1/10 of the waves. AMZ400-182200- Synopsis for Altamaha Sound GA to Flagler Beach FL out to 60 nm- 957 AM EDT Mon May 18 2020 .SYNOPSIS... Low pressure over the lower Mississippi Valley will progress northeastward into the Tennessee Valley by this evening, dragging a weakening cold front through our region tonight. Strong to isolated severe thunderstorms will likely approach our waters from the west this afternoon, with stronger activity capable of producing strong wind gusts and small hail. Southerly winds will increase this evening ahead of the cold front. A complex storm system over the Tennessee Valley will then keep southwesterly winds in place through midweek.
