.DISCUSSION...A potent weather system will bring more unsettled 
weather to the region through at least Thursday. Chances for rain 
and snow will increase across Inyo County today and slowly spread 
eastward across the rest of the southern Great Basin and Mojave 
Desert Tuesday and Wednesday. Most areas will see less rain or snow 
than what fell last week, with the exception of the Sierra and 
nearby areas. After a brief reprieve from the showery weather late 
in the week another system will be taking aim on the region early 
next week.
