This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
518 FXUS63 KOAX 251120 AFDOAX Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Omaha/Valley NE 520 AM CST Tue Feb 25 2020 ...Updated Aviation Forecast Discussion... .DISCUSSION... Issued at 302 AM CST Tue Feb 25 2020 The weather system expected to impact our region today continues to trend farther west. In fact, the accumulating snow will be west of our forecast area across central NE, and we'll generally only see flurries or sprinkles across eastern NE. And it's quite possible the dry air with a persistent northerly flow will win out and we may not see much at all. High temperatures reach the mid 30s to lower 40s, but northerly surface winds will increase to 15 to 25 mph which make it feel cooler. As the upper low diving through the western High Plains makes a turn the east, the northern edge of the precip could the NE/KS/MO/IA border region, but again, the measurable precipitation will remain to the south across KS and MO. The remainder of the period Wednesday through Sunday should generally be dry with a warming trend. Temps in the 30s Wednesday, but warming into the 50s for the weekend. There are couple of waves that move through the region Thursday and then again Thursday night. The GFS/Canadian models hint at some small precipitation potential for northeast NE but the EC and WPC both remain dry. If any precip would occur, it would be very light with negligible impacts. The next weather system of interest arrives Monday with mostly a rain chance, but with some snow changing to rain potential in northeast NE. && .AVIATION...(For the 12Z TAFS through 12Z Wednesday morning) Issued at 517 AM CST Tue Feb 25 2020 North northeasterly winds 12 knots or greater at TAF issuance, gusts 14 to 23 knots develop by 14-16z, increasing to 15 to 28 knots by 16-18z. MVFR clouds develop 26/02-05z. While there could be a stray flurry that affects KOFK/KLNK today, probability was too low to include in the TAF at this time. && .OAX WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES...
