Despite the sunshine it was a chilly day with afternoon highs ranging from the mid 20s to the mid 30s. Tonight temperatures settle back into the teens and lower 20s, but the return of a south to southwest flow of air will see temperatures rising after midnight. Friday temperatures rebound back up into 40s under a mix of sun and clouds as high pressure moves to the east of the region. Warming continues Saturday and Sunday with near record highs possible. A cold front will bring showers and possible brief downpours Saturday night and Sunday morning. $$ AED
