.NOW...
Through 2:00 AM, a broken line of scattered showers and isolated
thunderstorms just offshore from Mainland Monroe County will affect
the southeast Gulf of Mexico waters, from Cape Sable south
southwestward across the Marquesas Keys to Cosgrove Shoal Light. The
individual cells are moving to the southwest at near 15 knots. The
entire line is slowly moving westward at 5 to 10 knots. Mariners can
expect possible wind gusts to 25 knots, moderate heavy rainfall
reducing visibilities to less than 3 miles and a few lightning
strikes. Most of the thunderstorm activity is confined to the
Southeast Gulf of Mexico waters just offshore of Mainland Monroe.
