Through 2:00 AM, a broken line of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms just offshore from Mainland Monroe County will affect the southeast Gulf of Mexico waters, from Cape Sable south southwestward across the Marquesas Keys to Cosgrove Shoal Light. The individual cells are moving to the southwest at near 15 knots. The entire line is slowly moving westward at 5 to 10 knots. Mariners can expect possible wind gusts to 25 knots, moderate heavy rainfall reducing visibilities to less than 3 miles and a few lightning strikes. Most of the thunderstorm activity is confined to the Southeast Gulf of Mexico waters just offshore of Mainland Monroe. $$ SC
