The temperature was 17 degrees in Burlington, 19 degrees in Colby, and 23 degrees in McCook under clear skies. Winds were from the west at five to fifteen miles per hour with gusts up to 21 miles per hour. OUTLOOK... Expect cool temperatures Friday with highs ranging from the mid 40s to mid 50s under sunny skies. Winds will be from the northwest at 15 to 25 miles per hour with gusts up to 30 miles per hour. Overnight lows will dip back into the 20s under clear skies. Winds will be from the west around five to fifteen miles per hour. Warmer temperatures will return on Saturday with highs in the 60s sunny skies. The extended forecast will be dry with temperatures primarily in the 60s and 70s. $$
