068 AWUS83 KGLD 081931 RWSGLD COZ090>092-KSZ001>004-013>016-027>029-041-042-NEZ079>081-091045- Regional Weather Summary for the High Plains National Weather Service Goodland KS 131 PM MDT Sun Sep 8 2019 /231 PM CDT Sun Sep 8 2019/ After a foggy morning across most of the Tri-State area, most of the fog has cleared out, with the exception of the area around Saint Francis, Kansas. Low clouds have been keeping temperatures lower across most of the region. Temperatures currently range from the low 60s to upper 80s with winds out of the northeast at 5-10 mph generally north of Highway 40 and 283. To the south, winds are out of the south at 5-10 mph. OUTLOOK... Showers and thunderstorms are expected this evening into the overnight hours across the Tri-State region. The main threats are damaging winds and localized heavy rainfall. Large hail will be possible initially. Temperatures are expected to drop into the mid-50s to 60s tonight before climbing into the mid-80s to low 90s Monday. Chances for storms continue tomorrow late afternoon into the overnight hours, primarily east of Highway 83. $$
