ECC005-061645-
SHASTA-TRINITY NATIONAL FOREST-
DISCUSSION FOR REDDING ECC DISPATCH
338 PM PDT MON AUG 5 2019

A RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE WILL KEEP ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES IN
PLACE THROUGH TUESDAY ACCOMPANIED BY LOW AFTERNOON RHS AND POOR
OVERNIGHT RECOVERIES ACROSS RIDGES. AN AREA OF LOW PRESSURE
APPROACHING THE COAST SHOULD BRING COOLER CONDITIONS ALONG WITH
INCREASED ONSHORE FLOW AND HIGHER HUMIDITY FROM WEDNESDAY THROUGH
SATURDAY. THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE FOR CONVECTION OVER THE
MOUNTAIN RIDGES ON BOTH TUESDAY AND FRIDAY, PARTICULARLY ACROSS
THE COASTAL RANGE. BREEZY UP VALLEY WINDS AND OVER RIDGES ARE
LIKELY DURING THE LATE AFTERNOON/EARLY EVENING HOURS.
