This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
166 FXUS64 KOHX 041805 AFDOHX Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Nashville TN 105 PM CDT Sun Aug 4 2019 .UPDATE... FOR 18Z AVIATION DISCUSSION. && .DISCUSSION... Did a quick morning update to the grids...but all in all the forecast is in great shape. Still expect widespread likely to categorical pops area wide today. The best focusing mechanisms will be to the south so the categorical pops will be south of I-40. Slow moving storms will still be possible so heavy rainfall and localized ponding/flooding once again. Increased cloud cover and rain will keep afternoon temperatures a few degrees cooler than recent. Highs will be in the 80s across middle Tennessee. && .AVIATION... 18Z TAF DISCUSSION. Widespread showers and storms are expected this afternoon and into the early evening hours. All terminals should see vicinity storms throughout this time frame with occasional storms directly impacting terminals. Some storms could have strong winds as they collapse and decreased visibility due to heavy rainfall. Storms should diminish by 03z and leave calm conditions with clearing skies, which will encourage fog development and reduced visibilities at all terminals through the early morning hours on Monday. && .OHX WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES... NONE. && $$ DISCUSSION......12 AVIATION........11
