* At 546 PM EDT, National Weather Service meteorologists were
tracking a strong thunderstorm over Orange Heights, or near
Melrose, moving southwest at 15 mph.
* Winds in excess of 45 mph and excessive cloud-to-ground lightning
possible with this storm.
* Locations impacted include...
Gainesville, University Of Florida, Orange Heights, Rochelle,
Gainesville Airport, Newnans Lake, Waldo, Micanopy and Grove Park.
