...LAKESHORE FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 5 AM EDT
MONDAY...

* LOCATIONS...Lucas, Ottawa, Erie and Sandusky.

* TIMING...Until 5 AM EDT Monday.

* LAKESHORE FLOODING...As of 10 AM, the water level at Toledo was
  76 inches above low water datum with the water level at
  Marblehead at 74 above low water datum. The combination of
  record high lake levels and a brief period of moderate northeast
  winds will result in greater wave action and lakeshore flooding
  along the western basin of Lake Erie today and tonight. The
  water levels are expected to climb through the morning, peaking
  during the afternoon around 78 inches at both sites. High 
  swimming risk from waves and dangerous currents for area 
  beaches.

* TIMING...Until 5 AM EDT Monday.

* SHORELINE IMPACTS...Flooding is expected along the immediate 
  lakeshore. Beach and shoreline erosion is also possible. 
  Rising water levels in marinas and waterways into the lake may 
  also submerge docks and shoreline structures.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Lakeshore Flood Warning is issued when flooding is occurring or
imminent along the lake. Residents on or near the shore in the
warned area should take immediate action to protect life and
property.

* TIMING...Until 10 PM EDT this evening.

* BEACH HAZARDS...High swimming risk from waves and dangerous 
  currents.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Beach Hazards Statement is issued when swimming risks exist
from a combination of wind and large waves including rip currents
and longshore currents. These swimming risks can create life-
threatening conditions even for good swimmers. Follow the
instruction of local authorities or stay out of the water.
