Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Tulsa OK
1155 PM CDT Thu Jul 4 2019

.AVIATION...
CONCERNING TAF SITES KTUL/KRVS/KBVO/KMLC/KXNA/KFYV/KFSM/KROG.
Increasing mid and high clouds are forecast across Northeast
Oklahoma and Northwest Arkansas as a MCS in Western Missouri
continues to drop southward. Latest HRRR runs indicate majority of
precip remaining north of the CWA...though there remains a
potential that some precip may impact XNA/ROG early Friday
morning. During the day Friday...scattered to broken mid and high
clouds are again expected for the CWA. Some MVFR cigs could be
possible in the morning before lifting to VFR by early afternoon.
Shower and thunderstorm chances once again will be possible Friday
afternoon...though with uncertainty in coverage will hold off
mentioning for later shifts to re-evaluate.

..UPDATE...

DISCUSSION...
Isolated convection has dissipated with the loss of
heating, and expect mainly dry conditions the rest
of the night. It's not out of the question that storms
bubbling around the Kansas City area could eventually
make a run south toward parts of the area Friday
morning, but confidence is very low.
