Weather Summary For Central And Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
308 PM CDT Sat Jun 29 2019

Another hot and humid day has arrived across central Illinois.
Also, beginning to see development of showers and isolated
thunderstorms in north central Illinois, along a Davenport to
Lacon line. Temperatures around the region this afternoon were in
the upper 80s to low 90s.

High pressure will continue to build across the region into the
evening. However, with the increased heat and humidity,
development of additional showers and thunderstorms will be
possible...mainly along and north of I-74. A weak system will
slide along the eastern edge of High pressure overnight, bringing
the chance for showers overnight to locations along and northeast
of a Lacon to Danville line. Otherwise, the remainder of the
weekend and into the start of next week will be hot and humid,
with heat index values climbing to the upper 90s and low 100s.

Lows across the region tonight, will remain mild, dropping to the
mid 60s to low 70s. Highs Sunday will once again climb back into
the upper 80s and low 90s.
