.NOW...Persistent showers are expected to continue for the rest 
of the afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms are occurring across the
northwestern quadrant of Puerto Rico, while moderate to locally 
heavy scattered showers are occurring across the eastern half of 
the island. Additional rainfall of around one inch of rain is
possible across isolated areas. Expect ponding of water on 
roadways and poor drainage areas, locally heavy rainfall and gusty
winds as well as occasional lightning.
