Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1241 PM MDT Mon Jun 17 2019

.Discussion...

An active weather pattern will continue today and Tuesday, with
scattered to numerous afternoon and evening thunderstorms at
most locations both days. Rivers will continue to run high in
the San Juan mountains and the San Luis Valley, while locally
heavy rains from thunderstorms may cause flash flooding over
the Spring, Junkins, and Hayden Pass Burn Scars.

Drier and warmer weather is then expected from Wednesday
through Friday, with cooler conditions and a slight chance for
rainfall returning for the weekend.

Afternoon smoke dispersal will be generally good or better both
today and Tuesday, with pockets of excellent ventilation
rates possible over some of the higher terrain along the New
Mexico border.
