This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Puerto Rico and the adjacent
Atlantic Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Thunderstorms...There is a chance of thunderstorms with heavy
rainfall and brief gusty winds this afternoon across portions of
western Puerto Rico. 

.Flooding...Heavy rains could lead to urban and small stream
flooding.

.Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH expected across most of
the regional waters, as well as across coastal areas of northern and
southern Puerto Rico.

.Waves...Choppy/Rough seas up to 6 expected across all but coastal
waters of western and eastern Puerto Rico, as well as waters
surrounding Vieques and Culebra.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for all but
beaches along the west coast of Puerto Rico.

.Fire...Elevated Fire Danger expected across the south coastal plains
of Puerto Rico.

.Heat...Southeasterly trade winds will result in above normal
heat index for portions of southwestern Puerto Rico.

.Days Two through Seven...Tuesday through Sunday

A moderate risk of rip currents will continue during the next several
days. Fair and drier weather conditions accompanied by Saharan dust 
are expected through midweek. A tropical wave moving across the
eastern Caribbean may enhance moisture advection and shower activity 
on Thursday, but fair and drier weather conditions will return by the
weekend.

.Spotter information statement...

Widespread spotter activation is not anticipated, however individual
spotter are encouraged to report high winds, flooding, and rip 
currents to the National Weather Service in San Juan.

adjacent Coastal Waters.

.Day One...Today and Tonight

.Wind...Sustained winds in excess of 20 MPH expected across most of
the regional waters, as well as across portions of the U.S. Virgin
Islands.

.Waves...Choppy/Rough seas up to 6 expected across the offshore
Caribbean and Atlantic waters, as well as the Anegada Passage.

.Rip Currents...There is a moderate risk of rip currents for most
beaches of Saint Croix.

.Days Two through Seven...Tuesday through Sunday

A moderate risk of rip currents will continue during the next several
days. Fair and drier weather conditions accompanied by Saharan dust 
are expected through midweek. A tropical wave moving across the
eastern Caribbean may enhance moisture advection and shower activity 
on Thursday, but fair and drier weather conditions will return by the
