A weak frontal boundary will sag into central Florida this afternoon and allow level winds to veer to the NE/ENE into late afternoon. Deeper moisture will linger across the southern half of east central Florida where scattered to numerous showers and storms are expected with daytime heating this afternoon. Made some slight tweaks to rain chances and will indicate a slight chance for an afternoon storm slightly farther north near the weak frontal convergence into this afternoon. Locally heavy rainfall, gusty winds and frequent cloud to ground lightning will occur with strongest storms, mainly from Osceola and southern Brevard county south to the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee county. High temps will range from the mid 80s coast to the upper 80s across the interior. && .AVIATION... Scattered to numerous SHRA/TSRA will develop this afternoon mainly south of a KISM-KMLB line. KMCO-KTIX corridor may see a storm or two this afternoon and have added a VCTS for KMCO. KLEE-KDAB corridor should be mainly dry with a low chance for showers into early afternoon.
