This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
032 FXUS64 KLCH 070933 AFDLCH Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Lake Charles LA 433 AM CDT Fri Jun 7 2019 .DISCUSSION... Radar is indicating some showers and isolated thunderstorms to our north near Alexandria that extend into Mississippi this am. These storms are moving to the east as an upper level low spins over Arkansas. The upper level low is expected to move slowly into Tenn before getting block by a ridge. The ridge will hold the low in place through the weekend. But another system is expected to drop down from the upper plain states and into the south. By Monday this feature will push a dry cool front thru during the day. Tuesday morning temperatures starting out into the upper 60s to near 70 which will be seven degrees cooler than what it is now. High pressure aloft will keep showers in check through next week this will help the rivers to begin falling. Temperatures have finally begun to cool a bit this morning from the lower 80s at midnight. Temperatures will again climb back towards 90 degrees today and again on Saturday and Sunday. But the weekend is shaping up to be mostly sunny and dry allowing for the region to begin drying out from the recent rains. && .PRELIMINARY POINT TEMPS/POPS...
