showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain generally in far 
eastern Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas and also west of a 
Bartlesville to Eufaula line. The strongest storms with dangerous 
lightning and wind gusts over 40 mph possible were located in 
Leflore county in Oklahoma and Franklin, Carroll and Sebastian 
counties in Arkansas. The precipitation was in the Tulsa and 
Bentonville, Rogers and Fayetteville areas. The precipitation was in 
the Fort Smith area. Movement was to the northeast at around 25 mph. 
The average amount where it rained last hour was around one tenth of 
an inch with maximum amounts of an inch to an inch and a half. 
Coverage and intensity remained about the same as last hour. The 
Tulsa area forecast for the rest of this afternoon and into this 
evening, occasional showers and scattered thunderstorms then showers 
likely and isolated thunderstorms, otherwise cloudy with 
temperatures rising to 61 to 66 degrees and northeast winds around 5 
mph.
