This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited hail risk.
  Limited lightning risk.

DISCUSSION...

Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected this evening into 
early Sunday morning. Some of these storms may be strong over far
southeast Kansas eastward to the I-49 corridor in southwest 
Missouri this evening. Hail to the size of nickels will be the 
primary threat along with winds to 50 mph.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Thunderstorms will again develop Sunday afternoon into early 
Monday morning...with the better chance for strong to severe 
storms extending south of I-44 to the Arkansas border. The 
strongest storms will be capable of producing damaging winds gusts
and large hail.

Another strong storm system is expected to move into the Plains 
Wednesday with strong winds leading to an elevated threat for
grass fires...followed by thunderstorm chances on Thursday.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
