Area Forecast Discussion
National Weather Service Tulsa OK
1242 PM CDT Fri Apr 5 2019

.AVIATION...
CONCERNING TAF SITES KTUL/KRVS/KBVO/KMLC/KXNA/KFYV/KFSM/KROG.
Fog has finally dissipated for all the terminals. Light winds will
continue today and tonight, with a low chance of some fog
developing by sunrise. The winds should stay up a bit more than
last night so not anticipating widespread dense fog. There could
be some MVFR ceilings spreading into the OK TAF sites by early
Saturday morning, and possibly northwest Arkansas by mid to late
morning. Showers and storms are likely at some point tomorrow,
but the better chances are just beyond this forecast.

.PREV DISCUSSION... /Issued 1124 AM CDT Fri Apr 5 2019/

..UPDATE...

DISCUSSION...
Dense fog advisory was allowed to expire at 11 AM, with the only
foggy areas now confined to the Arkansas River valley and the Red
River valley in far southeast Oklahoma. Conditions should continue
to improve through early afternoon.

High temperatures look good in the mid 70s, with current temps
already in the low to mid 60s across much of eastern Oklahoma.
Areas in northwest Arkansas are a bit cooler due to the earlier
effects of the fog and lowered temps a degree or two there.

Areas in the AR River valley, like Fort Smith, will be much slower
to reach their forecast high temps.

Updated forecasts already sent.
