...FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL NORTH
DAKOTA AND THE JAMES RIVER VALLEY...

.Increased runoff from snowmelt will continue over the coming
days. Overland flooding and high water along small streams should
increasingly be expected with each passing day. This includes
tributaries of the James and Maple Rivers in Stutsman, LaMoure,
and Dickey Counties.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY AFTERNOON...

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of south central North Dakota and southeast North 
  Dakota, including the following areas, in south central North 
  Dakota, Emmons and Kidder. In southeast North Dakota, Dickey, 
  La Moure, Logan, McIntosh, and Stutsman. 

* Through Monday afternoon

* Warmer temperatures and excessive snowmelt may cause flooding.

* Be prepared for the potential of overland flooding and over- 
  topping of township and county roads. Elevated water levels on 
  rivers and streams are also possible. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
