...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in North 
Dakota...
 
  Beaver Creek below Linton affecting Emmons County 
For the Missouri River Basin including Linton...Minor flooding is 
occurring and is expected to continue.

.Recent snowmelt has led to rises in water levels on Beaver 
Creek. The level of Beaver Creek below Linton at 8 am CDT 
Saturday was 6.8 feet. The creek level is forecast to rise, 
reaching flood stage of 12 feet Sunday night, and remain 
at or above flood stage through at least Thursday of next 
week. The creek is ice affected, and any ice jams that form 
would lead to rapid fluctuations in the creek level...possibly
reaching flood stage before Sunday night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...


Safety message...Do not drive into areas where water tops the 
roadway. Turn around...Don't drown. Avoid driving on flooded roads.

* At  8:00 AM Saturday the stage was 6.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to near flood stage 
  Sunday night.
