Minor accumulations were reported north of I-74, with 2 to 5 inches farther north towards I-80. Overnight lows were primarily in the lower 30s. A large high pressure ridge will build into the area from the west, through the early part of the work week. This will bring dry weather, and slowly warming temperatures, through Tuesday. High temperatures today will range from near 40 degrees in northern Illinois, to the mid 50s in southern Illinois. Lows tonight will drop into the mid 20s to lower 30s across the Midwest. $$
