.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers will continue across the region this afternoon and
evening. A weak frontal system will likely bring light to moderate rain
showers Thursday afternoon into night, with amounts generally under
0.25 inches. This will be a colder storm with snow levels between 5000
and 6000 feet on Thursday, lowering to between 4500 and 5000 feet on Thursday
night. A moist and unsettled weather pattern will continue to bring a chance
of light showers on Friday, mainly in the mountains where snow levels will
fall to between 3000 and 3500 feet. Another storm system will bring a chance of
rain and mountain snow to the region by Sunday or Monday. At this time, rainfall
estimates with this storm system are expected to range between 0.10 and
0.50 inches while snow levels will range between 3500 and 4500 feet.
