Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
258 PM MST Mon Mar 4 2019

.Discussion...

Dry weather will return to southern Colorado for Tuesday, and
temperatures will be warmer, although over the southeast plains,
highs on Tue will still be below average. Snow will move back
into the mountains along the Continental Divide Tuesday night and
Wednesday, and will then spread into the eastern mountains
Wednesday night. All of the mountains should see snow on
Thursday. The southeast plains should be dry through Thursday,
with temperatures warming to above average. There will be the
potential for windy conditions on Thursday across much of southern
Colorado. A new storm system is forecast to move across Colorado
late Friday through Saturday, bringing chances for precipitation
to most of the area.

Most of the southeast plains will have Poor smoke dispersion
Tuesday afternoon, with Good dispersion over most of the mountain
and high valley locations. Wednesday, it still looks like most of
the southeast plains will have Poor dispersion, but over and near
the mountains, smoke dispersion should be Very Good to Excellent.
