This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a Large Part of Arkansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

No widespread hazardous weather is expected at this time.
However...some light wintry weather in the form of light freezing
drizzle may be seen across the higher terrain of the Ozarks
across far northwest sections of the area late tonight into early
Thursday morning. Limited to no impacts are expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday Through Tuesday

Ongoing river flooding will remain a concern as many rivers along
the Black...Lower White and Ouachita River Basins remain at high
levels. Otherwise...the threat for hazardous weather will remain
low through Friday.

By this weekend...much colder air looks to move into the
state...with the potential for wintry weather developing for some
portion of the Arkansas...especially by Sunday. However...details
regarding the winter weather potential remain uncertain this far
out in time. Refer to the latest forecasts in the coming days as
these details become more clear.

Well below normal temperatures will settle into the region for
early next week as an Arctic air mass moves south into the area.

.Spotter Information Statement...

Spotter activation will not be needed.
