.SYNOPSIS...
Strong high pressure centered over the northern Plains states will
continue to build southeastward through the Carolinas tonight and
Tuesday. High pressure will then move off the Carolina coast on
Tuesday night, allowing a warm front to slowly lift northward from
the Florida peninsula and the northeast Gulf of Mexico on
Wednesday. Weak low pressure will move eastward across northern
Alabama and Georgia on Thursday, resulting in prevailing light
offshore winds through Friday. A cold front will then move into
the southeastern states on Saturday and may stall over our waters
by late in the weekend.
