.SHORT TERM...
(Today and Tonight)

Early this morning, low clouds covered the Big Country, Heartland
and Northwest Hill Country. It was mostly clear across much of the
Concho Valley and Crockett County. Also, temperatures have fallen
into the 20s across this area.

Low clouds will quickly break up this morning as low level downslope
flow will help temperatures warm into the upper 50s to lower 60s
this afternoon. The winds will be from the west at 10 to 15 mph. For
tonight, expect quiet weather and light winds. Lows will be in the
30s to around 40.

.LONG TERM...
(Thursday through Tuesday)

Next upper level trough will move into the Rockies by Thursday
night and early Friday, with increasing lift ahead of the system.
A few showers possible as by sunrise Friday morning with best lift
approaching for Friday and Friday night. Have boosted rain chances
slightly for now, but with the ECMWF remaining drier than the GFS,
not boosting Pops too high quite yet. Drier conditions return for
next week.

Gradual warming trend through Friday with highs climbing into the
upper 60s and lower 70s. Temperatures will cool a few degrees as
the upper trough passes, but in general temperatures will remain
above normal for next week.
