URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Pendleton OR
305 PM PST Thu Feb 7 2019

...HAZARDOUS WINTER WEATHER EXPECTED FRIDAY THROUGH THE WEEKEND...

.A multi faceted and long duration winter weather scenario is
expected beginning Friday afternoon and continuing into Sunday.
This will result in significant snow accumulations of 4 to 8+
inches over the east slopes of the Oregon and Washington Cascades,
and portions of the Blue Mountains. Lesser snow accumulations of 3
to 6 inches are expected across the Columbia Basin and other
valley regions. Blowing snow will also be possible across portions
of the Columbia Basin in Washington and adjacent Kittitas and
Yakima Valleys. The widespread accumulating snow and blowing snow
will lead to widespread hazardous travel conditions through the
weekend.
