This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Elevated excessive cold risk.
  Limited non thunderstorm wind risk.

DISCUSSION...

Snow flurries and very light snow will be possible across the 
Ozarks into this evening. While a light dusting will be possible 
in some locations, most areas will see no accumulation.

Winds behind the front will gust at times between 20 and 30 mph
as cold air moves into the area rapidly into tonight. Wind chills
will be between the zero degree mark and 10 below from tonight
into early Friday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

A light wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow is becoming
increasingly likely for late Saturday night and Sunday morning.
This could cause some travel impacts across the region.

  Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
