Flood stage is 7.0 feet. The latest stage was 1.1 feet at 8 AM Wednesday. The river may rise to near 6.4 feet by 6 PM Thursday. For the Gasconade River at Jerome. Flood stage is 15.0 feet. The latest stage was 3.1 feet at 9 AM Wednesday. The river may rise to near 13.0 feet by 6 PM Friday. Do not drive through flowing water. Nearly half of all flood fatalities are vehicle related. As little as 6 inches of water may cause you to lose control of your vehicle. Two feet of water will carry most vehicles away. $$
