.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...High pressure aloft will be
centered over Colorado today. This will bring light winds, mild
temperatures, and dry conditions. These light winds under the
high and poor mixing will result in poor smoke dispersal today.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday through Tuesday...Moisture will
increase across the mountains Saturday night and Sunday with a
chance for snow and windy conditions. Lower elevations will
remain dry and warm through Tuesday. Expect at least fair to good
smoke dispersal during the weekend afternoons, especially in the
mountains and higher terrain.
