...BITTER WIND CHILLS TO CONTINUE ACROSS THE SOUTHERN 
APPALACHIANS...

.An arctic air mass will continue to settle over the region
tonight. Windy conditions will combine with the very cold air 
to produce bitter wind chills tonight through Wednesday night.

...WIND CHILL ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THURSDAY
ABOVE 3500 FEET...

* WHAT...Very cold wind chills above 3500 feet. Wind chills as 
  low as 15 below zero.

* WHERE...The high elevations of the North Carolina mountains,
  mainly near the Tennessee border.

* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST Thursday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The cold wind chills could result in 
  hypothermia if precautions are not taken.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will
combine to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can
occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
