Temperatures late evening were frigid, in the single digits both above and below zero. Dry weather will continue over the course of the next couple of days before another system moves into the Midwest. Although sunny skies filled the area Sunday, clouds will increase overnight to mostly cloudy skies for Monday. Overcast skies build for Tuesday as the next system enters the region, bringing snow and freezing rain throughout Tuesday, before changing to all rain late Tuesday afternoon. As the system moves east, rain will change to snow on the backside. Temperatures will warm Monday and Tuesday, before another cold front slides through behind the precipitation dropping temperatures back into the 20s and then teens late week. Overnight low temperatures, will range from 10 degrees below zero across northern Indiana, to the lower 20s across the Missouri bootheel. Highs monday will range from near 10 in northeast Indiana to near 30 in east central Missouri. $$
