This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of the Missouri
Ozarks and extreme southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.

Weather hazards expected...

  Limited flooding risk.
  Limited excessive cold risk.
  Elevated non thunderstorm wind risk.
  Elevated snow risk.

DISCUSSION...

Rain will continue to change to snow across the area today.
Snowfall amounts from a dusting to one inch will be possible
across the area with perhaps two inches in areas of south central
missouri from West Plains and points east. Wind chill values will
drop into the single digits by this afternoon.

A limited flooding risk will exist across southern Missouri
through the morning hours given saturated soils.

Gusty northwest winds up to 45 mph will develop across the area
this morning into the afternoon. This will also act to reduce
visibilities in areas of snow.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Wind chill readings in the single digits are likely Sunday
morning.

Gusty winds are expected Monday and Tuesday as another storm
system approaches the region.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
