Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
508 AM MST Sat Jan 12 2019

.Discussion...

Updated to expire the winter weather advisories across the
area. Light snowfall will continue through early afternoon
for the Plains, and through tonight over the mountains. Minor
snow accumulations will remain possible.

Light rain and snow will continue this morning over much of
southern Colorado, especially upslope areas favored by north
winds (Raton and Palmer Divide areas). Another upper disturbance
over the Four Corners region will produce scattered snow showers
over mountain areas through Sunday. Minor accumulations are
expected in the mountain areas. High pressure will then build
across the region for early next week before the next southwest
flow returns moisture to the area with increased chances for
snow over the mountains Wednesday into Thursday.

Smoke dispersions will generally be poor to fair for today
with poor conditions overnight.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
