Weather Summary For Central And Southeast Illinois
National Weather Service Lincoln IL
207 PM CDT Sun Sep 2 2018

Isolated showers developed over portions of central and eastern
Illinois, this afternoon. Otherwise conditions were breezy, and
hot and humid. Mid afternoon temperatures were in the upper 80s
to lower 90s.

Little change in the weather pattern is expected over the next few

into northern Illinois, where strong to severe thunderstorms and
locally heavy rainfall will be possible. Some of the storms could
reach as far south as central Illinois, through Tuesday.

Low temperatures tonight will drop into the 70s for much of the
Midwest. Highs on Labor Day will range from the upper 70s in
northern Iowa, to the lower 90s in southern Illinois.
