High temperatures ranged from 85 in Mattoon, to 90 in Peoria. A cold front will move in from the north to end the work week. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Friday, for much of the region. After the front pushes to the south, high pressure will bring dry and seasonable weather for the weekend. Low temperatures tonight will drop into the 60s for much of the Midwest, while highs on Friday will range from the lower 80s in northern Illinois, to the lower 90s in southern Missouri. $$
