Through 700 am, isolated showers and thunderstorms along boundaries
will impact the Nearshore Gulf, Hawk Channel, and Florida Straits
waters surrounding the entire Florida Keys Island Chain. A few
showers or storms may move across some island locations, mainly
between Bahia Honda Key and Newfound Harbor. Mariners and motorists
in the path of the stronger activity will encounter brief moderate to
heavy rainfall accompanied by visibility less than 3 miles, winds
gusts around 30 mph, and occasional to frequent lightning strikes.
Movement of individual showers is northwest at 10 to 15 knots.
