This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD
). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
077 AWCA82 TJSJ 220856 CCA RWSPR Weather Summary for Puerto Rico...CORRECTED National Weather Service San Juan PR 456 AM AST Sun Jul 22 2018 Skies became variably cloudy to partly cloudy across the region overnight as a combination of low and high level clouds moved across the area. Passing showers were noted moving across the local waters and reaching parts of the north and east coastal section of the islands. Rainfall accumulations were however minimal so far. Winds over land were light and variable to calm. Early morning low temperatures were in the high 70s to low 80 along the coastal areas. A band of moisture accompanying an induced low level trough will move across the region today. This along with orographic effects and daytime heating will give way to shower development and possibly isolated thunderstorms especially over portions of the interior and western Puerto Rico. Except for local sea breeze variations, winds will be generally from the east between 5 to 15 mph with occasionally higher gust to near 20 mph. Near normal high temperatures in the high 80s are forecast for today and on Monday. Periods of isolated to scattered showers will continue into Monday, but Tuesday should be slightly drier ahead of the next tropical wave. Across the local waters, east winds of 10 to 15 knots will allow seas to relax to 2 to 5 feet. There is a moderate risk of rip currents across many of the local beaches including most of the north coast. $$ This product is issued around 5 AM and 5 PM each day and weather conditions may change between issuances.
