This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.
903 FXUS62 KKEY 171413 AFDKEY Area Forecast Discussion National Weather Service Key West FL 1013 AM EDT Sun Jun 17 2018 .DISCUSSION... The only echoes on KBYX Doppler radar this morning are beyond our Atlantic coastal waters boundary, and well off the north Cuban coast. Otherwise, under mostly sunny skies with a light to gentle breeze favoring the easterly direction, temperatures in the Florida Keys are climbing into the upper 80s. The morning local sounding shows a continuation of the light winds from low levels all the way into the mid levels. Several relatively dry layers are also evident, as is a shallow low level convectively resistant layer. We could see at least a few showers/tstms this afternoon, and more likely separating from the mainland toward the island chain in the light steering flow. But a 10 percent probability of measurable rain should cover things. This is what was advertised in the early morning zone issuance, so no update is planned. && .MARINE... Expect a continuation of relatively light breezes favoring the east or southeasterly direction over the next several forecast periods. There will be little or no changes to any portion of the coastal waters forecast on the late morning update. && .AVIATION... VFR conditions will prevail at both the Key West and Marathon terminals through this afternoon and early evening. Surface winds will generally be out of the east between 5 and 10 knots. && .CLIMATE... On June seventeenth 1908, 1.85 inches of rain was measured in Key West. This set the daily rainfall record for the date in the city. Rainfall records for Key West date back to 1871. && .KEY WATCHES/WARNINGS/ADVISORIES... FL...None.
